London 3D vision

Antonio Berardi.jpg

Flowers and geometrical prints, mix of bright and fluo colors, overlapping of different pieces: every LFW outfit creates a tridimensional effect. From the oversize volumes in knitwear to the coats with mixed materials and the flared skirts with lace petticoat. All to be watched with 3D glasses.

Metro-chic: the New York woman in total black

Alexander Wang.jpg

Few colors and only a neutral palette: the black is the true protagonist of New York fashion shows.

An everyday elegant woman with a city attitude. The seasonal must have are oversize coats, mini dresses in leather mixed with shearling and fur in different versions: short, long or just details on the sleeves and shoulders. The focus is on materials and treatments to make exclusive pieces.

Men's bags from fashion shows

Burberry Prorsum.jpg

A bags selection “stolen” from Men catwalks in Milan and Paris. For the weekend escape, handbags made in leather mixed with check or velvet embossed prints, fur or pony; the vintage effect, which is obtained with particular leather treatments, is a season’s must have. The everyday accessories like tablet and iPad cases are really cool thanks to colored croco and details like little studs.

The best of Altaroma

Gattinoni.jpg

A selection from the Haute Couture Fashion Week, ending today in Rome. From the creation by Guillermo Mariotto for Gattinoni dedicated to the euros to the inspirations born from ancient fabrics by Marta Ferri, from the chromaticism “lost” by the frescos in the dresses by Raffaella Curiel to the femininity of creations by Jack Guisso, worn by the protagonist of American star system.

The best of Paris Haute Couture s/s 2012

Christian Dior.jpg

A selection of dresses presented at Paris Haute Couture s/s 2012. Color blocking for Alexis Mabille, Jean Paul Gaultier and Atelier Versace, acid green for Armani Privé and blue tones for Chanel: elegance dares with colors. And with the neverending charming contrasts of black and white.
